Ortho TC & Sugar Pills: Period Timing & Cycle Questions

And it was wonderful and answered my first questions about skipping periods :) thank you. I just started to take Ortho TC low, and i have one more hormone pill to take tomorrow, October 17th, then i will start on my sugar pills. my questions was, when will i get my period and when will it end? does it start with the first pill? go the whole week? will it end no matter what as soon as i start the pills with hormones again? My long-distance boyfriend is coming on October 22nd, and i want to know if my period would be done by then or if i should just skip it. is it unhealthy to skip the first month you take the pill?

I would not suggest that you skip your period during the first month of being on the pill. I can't really say when yous period will start and how long it will be. I suggest that you take the pills as you normally would for this month. If you are on your period when your boyfriend arrives, consider using a product called Instead - you can look it up online.
