Restarting Your Period After Prolonged Absence: Menonessa and Alternatives

Question
My doctor prescripted me a birth control pill to bring back my period.
Because of bad eating habit, i havent had my period for more than 12months..
I finally went to the hospital, and now I am taking menonessa.  It seems like you are against taking birthcontrol pills whatsoever..

Is there any other thing i can do to help me bring back my regular period?

Answer
I have to assume from what you have told me that you either are anorexic or bulimic.  And you have lost a lot of weight.  That is why your do not have your periods.  The birth control pill gives you a false period but it doesn't indicate that your health is returning.

I don't understand why a doctor would prescribe a drug to "bring back your period"?  The only thing that will restore your health and your natural fertility and your normal periods is getting your eating back in order, and gaining some weight.  You have to want to be healthy in a natural way and take good care of yourself.

You are a special wonderful woman and your body is made to do what it does naturally if you feed it right, get enough exercise and sleep.  Please keep working on your mental health and your physical health will follow.  But taking the pill is not good for your body and isn't giving you any good benefits.

You have a period because the hormones force bleeding but it doesn't mean what a natural period means.  Stop taking it.  When your real period returns that is a sign to you that your health is returning, that your weight is normalizing and that you have gaining control of yourself and becoming whole again.  You can do it.  You have all the tools inside yourself and i'm sure you have support from your family, too.
