Took First Birth Control Pill a Day Early – What You Need to Know

So I recently just began taking birth control pills and I was suppose to start today (sunday), but I accidentally began yesterday morning thinking it was sunday. Will this affect me in anyway? Should I just continue on taking the rest of the pills?

Yes, I would continue on taking the rest of the pills.  It won't affect you in any way.  When you get to the end of the pack you could keep Sat. as a start day or take a pill from a spare pack (having extra pills sometimes is handy) to make it back to a Sunday start.  It's ok to take the active pills for more than 21 days, but don't let more than 7 days go before starting the active pills again, or if you do use a backup method for at least a week.
