Choosing the Right Birth Control After Depo: Options & Considerations

Question
okay so I have been on the shot (Depo) before and after I got pregnant and while being on it everything was fine, expect for the part where my actual period would stop while I was on it, which I didnt complain about it just wasnt too sure if it was normal. So I was told that its only good/better to be on it for no more than 2 years so I took a break. Now I am not taking no birth control and my period is back which is okay becasue its not unusual or nothing like that. Now I am just looking, researching and trying to find out which would be the best birth control to take now that I have been off the shot for two months. I am really not much in hurry, for the fact that I am away from my husband for a couple of months due to be in overseas, but as soon as I get back I want to be in birth control and stay on it. I have tried the Ortho Vera but that didnt work to well for me. So here are my options:
Alesse28, LoOveral28, OrthoNovum1/35 and Ortho-Tricyclen-28, so out of all these can you explain to me what can be my side affects and which one may work as well as the Depo? Thank you so much for your time.

Answer
Dear Angela,

I don't recommend any kind of hormonal birth control, which includes any kind of birth control pill. If you will do some research on the internet, you will find many side effects, long-term and short-term. I can send you some links but most of it is found easily on the internet search. I'm glad that you are discontinuing the depo shot. I have received many stories of women who had side effects from the depo shot and don't recommend it. When you get back with your husband, will you be considering at any point to have children? You may email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com and we can talk more about things. Oops, I see that maybe you have a child or children already? I didn't quite understand.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
