Jolessa Pill Use: Postponing Period & Effectiveness Concerns
QuestionMy wife is taking Jolessa contraceptive pills. She wants to postpone her period by taking the reminder pills one week later. This means she will continue taking the regular pills for another week before taking the reminder pills. That will effectively move her period to one week later. Is this something she can do? or will it affect the effectiveness of the pills. Thanks a lot
AnswerI don't recommend taking the pills any way but the right way as the instructions say. But you can have her ask her doctor about this. I don't advise women to take birth control pills or any kind of hormonal birth control methods. I feel that the risks and side effects are too great.
I do recommend Natural Family Planning or condoms. You can ask me a followup question if you like.
