Spotting or Light Bleeding While on Birth Control: What to Know

I've been taking avaine for about 4-5 months now. I have unprotected sex with my boyfriend and always make sure to take my pill on time, until this month. We had unprotected sex the 2nd weekend of my pack of pills. Now I am on my second sugar pill and all I'm getting is on and off brown discharge/ a little bit of blood but its not constant at all. I am a lil naucious but that's it. I was very bad at taking my pill on time this month (I always took it everyday but sometimes hours late). Could I be pregnant?

It's possible that you could be pregnant but I can't diagnose over the internet. For your info, you can get pregnant even if you take the pills exactly correctly. And when you don't, then you run the risk of pregnancy. By now, you perhaps know what is happening. Did you start your period or what did you find out? You can get a free pregnancy test at a local pregnancy resource center.
