Ortho-Cyclen 28 & Dayquil: Potential Interactions & Effectiveness

I've been on ortho cyclen 28 for one and a half cycles so far. I've gotten really sick over the last couple days and I took dayquil. Is there any drug interactions between the two that can decrease the effectiveness of the pill?

I think it might decrease the effectiveness but I could not find anything definite online. Also, I'm not a medical doctor so I would suggest your ask your physician.
