QuestionI just started birthcontrol 2 weeks ago. No extending periods, or anything. Still get the periods once a month. I started bleeding. I'm assuming this is breakthrough bleeding. I was sexually active with my boyfriend a day before I started bleeding though, but like I said, I just figured it was my bithcontrol finally sinking into my system.so I was just wondering how long this breakthrough bleeding would last because I've been bleeding for 8 days now.

Oh, P.S. are you having any other side effects from the pills because I don't generally recommend a birth control method that is hormonal.
