QuestionHey there. I'm not sure whether you will be able to help me or not, but I thought it might be worth a try. A group of my friends are planning to go and get a tattoo this week-end, to celebrate their first year of college. They are all probably going to get a dolphin or a rose or something like that. I want to get something that means something to me. I am going to be majoring in women's studies. I have been involved with women's rights since I was in high school. I have been involved with a variety of causes from participating in Take Back the Night marches, volunteering at a domestic violence shelter, an education campaign against female genital mutilation etc. But the cause I have always felt most passionate about was reproductive rights. I am very pro-choice, and volunteering as a clinic escort was by far the most rewarding experience.
So the question is, do you know of any pro-choice symbols? I want to proudly tell the world that I support a woman's right to choose. SO if you have any suggestions/ideas I would really apppreciate it. Again, not sure whether this falls within your range of expertise but thought I would give it a shot. Thanks a lot.

All those events you participated in sound amazing. It's great that you're getting out there for the cause. The one symbol I can think of is the classic symbol for women with a fist rising in the middle that's used as a symbol for feminism. Here's a picture of it:

Other than that 1 symbol, I don't know of anything. I wish there was a universal pro-choice symbol though. The symbol above is associated with women's rights, and it definitely symbolizes reproductive rights. You could get the symbol, then a few words, but I'm not familiar with tattoo costs/how much time. At the site I linked to, there's great pro-choice sayings if you want to look around. I hope you find something that works for you :)
