QuestionOk, so I had a surgical abortion 2 wks ago.I was 9 wks 4 days. Exactly 1 wk later I had sex because I stopped bleeding.he came. Then 3 days later I had sex again but I started spotting so he didn't cum.I bled on and off afterwards.now 5 days later I had sex again because I wasn't bleeding. Then 1 hour later I started bleeding again. Do you think I have a chance of being pregnant? What's the odds? I also had a previous abortion an had sex 11 days later and that's how I ended up pregnant again. Help thanx a lot!
AnswerSonja,
The question of odds don't make sense in the context of a single individual. Nobody can answer whether or not you are pregnant over the internet, not even a doctor. The fact that you bleed like that is of concern. You may have an internal injury from the abortion. Please go to a doctor with these questions. You did have sex at a time you are likely to be fertile IF your body returned to normal immediately (which is highly unlikely, though, because abortion seriously disrupts a woman's delicately balanced hormones).
It looks like you have been putting yourself at risk for some time. Abortions are dangerous. Please don't take these kinds of chances. You deserve better.
Once you have everything stabilized, and the doctor says your hormones are pretty much normal, I recommend you learn to tell when you are fertile. You cannot be using any kinds of hormones. You must chart faithfully. You can get more information here:

Talk to your partner about the risks you are running. If he truly cares about you, he will want to protect you from these kinds of risks. When you are fertile, you can find other ways to express affection. But please know that any kind of penetration anywhere can lead to sexually transmitted diseases or HIV. Stay safe!
