Post-Methotrexate Abortion: Understanding Bleeding & Clots

I have just experienced medical abortion or some kind of intent.

After taking metothrexate /a week ago/ I took Misoprostol 4 days after ... The cramps and bleeding came the same day, there were teh blood clots and for that same day I would say that the bleeding was as heavy as during normal mestruation day. However on the next /2nd day/ it has almost stopped and today /3rd day/ I do not notice any bleeding at all, just going to the toilette I still can see some blood clots.

Do you thing it is normal or I should take some extra dose of Misoprostol?

Dear Alica,
It is difficult to know whether the abortion was complete.  It depends on how far along you were.  From what I can tell, the bleeding was fairly light.  You have a few choices - 1) you can go to the doctor and get an ultrasound and see if it was complete; 2) you can try taking more misoprostol.  You can take up to 4 tablets in your cheek at the same time, every 24 hours for up to 3 days.  Either way, you should get some kind of evaluation that the process was completed.  How will you evaluate this?
