I am 25yr old and had a abortion on 8th aug after an unplanned pregnancy. My last LMP was on 6th july.It was my first pregnancy and the doctor did a surgical vaccum aspiration procedure. Could U please tell me whether I will have any affects on my future pregnancy as i am very scared that my uterus or cervix would have been damaged.Can I plan a baby after 3-4 mnths and when should i start having sex with my husband again????
I really want to become a mother and i do regret my decision of terminating my first baby. I cant talk to my husband as i dont want to worry him.please help me

Yes, there is danger for a future pregnancy. There are three kinds of dangers. The first is tubal pregnancy. This happens if there is scar tissue over the opening to the Fallopian tube, and sperm can get in but the zygote can't get out. This will kill the baby and you will require emergency surgery to save your life. If you become pregnant and about 5-6 weeks into your pregnancy (LMP), you start to feel pain on one side, get to a doctor immediately. If the pain suddenly stops, get to the emergency room. The second danger is miscarriage or very premature birth. Very premature birth is a leading cause of cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and autism. Tell your obstetrician you have had a surgical abortion. Ask him how to tell if you are threatening to go into early labor. Also, ask him to fasten your cervix shut so you will be able to keep the baby. The third time is at birth. If there is scar tissue in the wrong place, a baby may not be able to implant in a good location, and could implant too close to the cervix. This is called placenta previa, and the placenta can rip loose during labor. This will lead to hemorrhage. The remedy is Caesarian section (not always necessary, but definitely sometimes).
