Hi I am 23 years old and I have had an abortion within the last year- prob about 9 months ago... I'm pregnant again! by complete accident. I feel ashamed to get another abortion but there is no room in my life for a baby right now!! I was just wondering if the amount of abortions I have will effect my ability to get pregnant down the line when I am ready. I'm very worried!! Help! Thank You!

Thanks for your question. I'm sorry to hear of your situation. I would advise you not to have another abortion. Are you having any side effects from the first? Emotionally, spiritually or physically? I have worked with women for over 20 years now and most women regret an abortion down the line. Also, I have seen studies and testimonies from women that sometimes it does affect fertility. I would hate to see you suffer any problems from a 2nd abortion. Do you see any way that you could have your baby and place with a loving family (temporarily or permanently)? You could have your baby and then decide at that point. I have a good friend who was adopted and now in her 30's and happy to have been given life.
