Post-Abortion Discharge: Understanding Causes & When to Worry

Hello,How are you thank you for your time hope your able to help me.I am a 27 year old woman who had a surgical abortion abortion 3 months and 2weeks ago.I have 2 kids which one was c-section and the other natural.I had a had my tubes tide at the time of 3rd pregnacy at least I thought but one tube was open and due to risk of life for myself and child had to under go a surgical abortion at almost 4 months my question is since the procedure I have been spotting dark brownish discharge and some red blood here and there I was confused and wasn't sure if that was my monthly so I took a pregnancy test and tested postive but I have been on the nuva ring could that be possible I also am experiencing some scratching in the vagina area and am curious could I have a yeast infection please help me if you can thank you for your time.

Hi Toya,

You make it difficult for me as you do not tell me when that last abortion was.
The pregtest stays positive until 3-4 weeks after an abortion.
Also slight bleeding can happen in the first months of pregnancy.
The yeast infection can be treated with suppositories or cream, ask your drugstore.
