Second Surgical Abortion: Risks & Future Pregnancies - Expert Advice

Hi Dr,

My friend had an abortion last week she was 7weeks pregnent, after which she had very bad cramps and light bleeding. We took her for scanning again and Dr advised there are some leftover products due to which she is having pain. She had surgical abortion again yesterday to remove leftovers, she is not having any bleeding now. Now, my concern - Is it harmful to have 2nd time surgical abortion for future pregnancies ? Are there any chances of leftovers again?

There is always a chance with abortion. I do not advise abortion ever. There are many side effects and risks that can happen. Some are physical and some are psychological.
