Abortion After Cervical Cerclage: What You Need to Know

Can I have an abortion even if I have a permanent cervical cerclage in place? I have a history of an incompetent cervix and have had very difficult pregnancies. I unexpected found out that I'm pregnant and don't feel as though I have the strength or emotional energy to go through another stressful pregnancy and my husband and I have made a decision to end the pregnancy and get my tubes tied . Is this an option?
