Pedicure and Nail Fungus: Risks & Safety with Personal Tools

Hi, I already read the response that says you can't get a pedicure if you have a nail fungus.  But i have also heard that if you have your own dedicated set of tools, you can.  Is this true?  Thanks,

Dear Bethany,

Of course there will be shops that will give you one but shops are wary about contamination of for example through the water pipes in the pedicure chairs or by the towels. If I would be the owner I would not mind doing your pedicure because we disinfect before and after each client so no worries. It will not take very long though to get rid of your fungus (well depending on the severeness though). Best thing always is to see a dermatologist and take prescription anti fungus medicines. I would avoid pharmacy products as they sometimes not work for your specific problem.
