Sugar Waxing: A Beginner's Guide to Natural Hair Removal

Question
I have done some research and decided id like to sugar wax.  I tried it and it didnt work.  could you explain to me please how to sugar wax.  Thanks.

Answer
Hello Jill,

I do not know which recipe you have used, but I am going to share my own experience of sugar waxing. I did it in France with a holistic esthetician who was using an ancient sugar waxing natural recipe from North Africa. Unfortunately, I don't have that recipe, but I'm sure you can find it on the web. The trick with this type of sugar waxing was to roll a ball of the sugar wax on the leg in all directions and everywhere so that the hairs would be glued and uprooted. As you know, hairs can grow in any direction and for waxing, you need to make sure that you use the right angle for each area. The whole thing took the same amount of time as regular waxing but in the end, I had a beautiful and soft exfoliated skin.

Maybe this type of sugar waxing is easier and more efficient than the regular "peel off" type of sugar waxing with strips. I do not have any experience with this type, but I think as with the type I've just described, the trick is to have the right consistency of sugar wax. Not too liquid and not too solid. Don't give up, try several times until you master the recipe and the perfect thickness of the sugar wax.

Good luck

I hope you find this answer helpful.
Have a beautiful day,
Take good care
