Men's Makeup: Coverage, Application & Longevity - Expert Advice
QuestionHello tyla
I am a single white male of 59 thin built and wear glasses. i started going to makeup counters to cover my red skin. But the young ladies always give me a full make up session
every thing. I enjoy it and like wearing it all. and really like the mascara and eye shadows. But was wondering why the eye shadow never seems to last too long during the day. Blues and greens are the colors they use the most. As long as its not to female looking I really enjoy wearing it all for the day.
on weekends. But the lipsticks does always look right sometimes its too dark for a man or its just too light. What color lipstick would look the best on my skin color and green eyes I do try my own make up at times at home too. I do look younger too Is there any thing wrong with me wearing make up at times

AnswerI personally don't see anything wrong with whether you choose to wear makeup or not. If you are comfortable with it, enjoy it, and it isn't harming anyone I say go for it. As far as the sustainability of your eyeshadows- you might want to try and eyeshadow base. They work great to not only intensify the color of the eyeshadow but to also help it last. For lipstick, try to find a shade that matches your natural lip color the most. That will complement your skin the best and go with everything. I personally don't wear a lot of lipstick, I wear mostly glosses and moisturizers. The moisturizers especially help make your lips look plumper and younger.
Hope this helps- good luck!
