QuestionHi. I wanted to know how I can go about applying daily makeup to make my skin tone more even and lighter. Now I got this idea from Michael Jackson.
Now my current skin tone is like this(these are pics of me, and yes, I know I look like him.):

And depending on the lighting: http://hphotos-snc1.fbcdn.net/hs203.snc1/7018_1253238729347_1180899632_796858_49...
And I wanted to Apply some kind of make up to get my complexion like this:

What is the name of the kind of makeup I can use to get my complexion to the one like MJ's in those pics? And whats the name of the shade or color number of that skin tone? And where can I get these at?
Because I did a lot of research on MJ's makeup use and I found out that even though he had vitiligo, throughout the Bad Era(late 80's), his skin tone was pretty dark still without makeup. Plus a lot of his light skin back in the late 80's depended on lighting. Like in these pics:

The exposure setting on these are not quite right - his skin tone would still be a bit darker here compared to the one posted above. Less make up would play a role in the look. He wears less in the Dirty Diana shoot than for BAD video shoot.
But back to my original question. How can I achieve that look of the first pics of MJ I posted by using makeup?
Answer This is a toughie, because I don't feel comfortable recommending foundation colors without seeing you in person and I do not know exactly what colors MJ used. I maybe try Smartcover kit in light, you could blend them to try and achieve a lighter look. Sacha Cosmetics makes a color called almond light that might come close, but it's hard for me to know for sure. These are both specialty foundations for scars and vitiligo to give you maximum coverage. Blending owuld be the key though, blending blending blending to make it look more natural. Also don't forget to cover your ears and blending down on to the neck until you reach the neckline of your shirt. You could also go to a make-up counter and explain what you are trying to achieve and see if they can help match you.
Hope this helps
