Answer
Hello Chole :)

I can feel your emotion through this email and I want to help.

To correctly identify what is going on as I do with all my questions, I need to ask a few questions.

You wrote that you have freckles and that they are red. May I ask if you have redness just on your freckles or around the freckles? Is there redness anywhere else on your face?
Are you on antibiotics or antidepressants? This medication makes skin sensitive when out in the sun.
Are you using a sunscreen?

I'd like to suggest the following sunscreens ( as I am not familiar with products in Australia I will include the websites for you)

- Peter Thomas Roth Ultra-lite Oil-free Sunscreen Mist SPF15 is another form. It is a 8 oz spray which is recommended for all skin types. It is non-comedogenic water resistant, fragrance-free and contains aloe. The price is about $28.00
Peter Thomas Roth can be found in Sephora stores www.sephora.com or visiting the site: www.PeterThomasRoth.com

- Aveeno Positively Radiant SPF 30 ( this can be found at most retail or drug stores )

Another factor of your skin flaring up can be due to what you are eating and drinking.
Are you drinking up to 8 glasses of water daily? Do you eat plenty of fruits and vegetables? Do you eat salmon? Do you take a multivitamin? How much salt and sugar intake does your diet consist of? Try to avoid salt as much as possible. No greasy foods - this irritates your skin.

I look forward to your reply to help you further.

It will be ok - we will work together to get your skin to healthy as possible :)

Warmly
Elaine :)
