How to Grow Thicker Eyebrows for Men: Products & Alternatives

Question
Hey Caroline,

I have naturally thin eyebrow for a male and I've always wanted to get a fuller and thicker eyebrow. I've also done some research on growth product/stimulator, diet and the other alternatives. Beside getting it tattooed or hair transplant, is there any eyebrow growth product out there that may help me achieve a fuller and thicker eyebrow? I'm not quite sure whether I should invest my money into these products.

PS. I'm in my early 20s and both my parents have pretty thin eyebrows too.

Thank you in advance.

Answer
Hello Gordon,

Given that both your parents have thin eyebrows, it isn't going to be easy to grow thicker eyebrows. However, if when you were a child, you had thicker eyebrows than now, then it may be possible.
I wouldn't recommend topical growth stimulating products as I'm not sure they're safe, efficient and really worth the money. I would suggest you have a look at Ho Shou Wu herbal extract:

This herbal extract is known to have a general stimulating action on health AND on hair growth. It's an adaptogenic herb, which means that it doesn't address a specific issue, but instead acts globally on the body's health and vitality. In this case, this adaptogenic herb also stimulates the vitality of the hair/hairs.
If you think that you've been exposed to high levels of pesticides, herbicides, BPA and other hormone disrupting chemicals, I would strongly recommend that you start a solid detoxifying treatment like this:

If there is a strong genetic component to your eyebrows being thin, there might also be a strong hormonal factor (as hair growth is driven partially by hormones). By doing detox at least twice a year, you may be able to stimulate the natural growth of your eyebrows.

While you're evaluating your options, you can visit a makeup artist and ask her to show you the best options to draw a thicker eyebrow. The results of good makeup are amazing on eyebrows. I'm not sure about tattooing as it's a disaster when it's not well done, and it's very difficult to correct.

I hope you find this answer helpful.
Have a beautiful day,
Take good care
