Blush vs. Bronzer: A Beginner's Guide to Application & Shade Selection

I've never used either blush or bronzer before but am interested in trying it.

How do you choose one over the other? How do you know what shade to try? and where exactly do you apply it?

I highly suggest you stop in at a cosmetic counter of a major dept. store or a Sephora, Ulta, etc, if you have one in your area. The make-up artists there will show you precisely where to apply the blush vs. the bronzer and will suggest the best colors for your skin tone.

Basically, a blush is worn on the cheek bone and adds a hint of color to your cheeks, helping to give your face a warmer, healthier look.  A bronzer is used to give your skin an overall glow and is usually used (sparingly) on the nose, cheeks (over your blush), chin, forehead.  For greatest success and results, I suggest you have a professional make-up artist instruct you!
