Most of us, when we look back into our childhood always remember how much we loved Barbie dolls. Some of us still love the dolls and different accessories of Barbie Brands. We love copying the Barbie looks starting from bumped up to curly hairstyles and the lip colour to the long lash eye makeup. Therefore a Barbie Nail Art cannot be ruled out either. And our Barbie loves her handsome boyfriend Ken, so how about incorporating some Barbie Love Mania onto the nails?
So today we will show you a simple but elegant free hand Barbie Nail Art Tutorial.
These are as follows:
Apply base coat on each of the nails. Paint all the nails with metro girl, excepting the Middle finger. Paint the middle finger with a white polish.
Dip the nail art brush in the White polish and carefully draw a line followed by the curve of capital “P”. Make sure that the bottom curve of “P” doesn’t touch the straight line. Extend the head of the “P” outward.
Now draw another lower curve to form a “B” .This B stands for Barbie.
Extend B’s tail to the other side.
Put some dots with the pointed end of the toothpick and white polish.
On the first finger, we will be drawing Barbie’s head. If you have stamping plates, the process becomes a lot easier. However for free hand, as we have done here, start by drawing a big dot with the blunt end of toothpick and white polish. With the nail art brush, draw a curvy line which will become Barbie’s ponytail.
Now with gentle hands and a lot of precision, complete the pony tail, the neck, and a slanting line connecting it to form the border of the chest. With a little orange, draw a small line on the pony tail to form a rubber band. Finish with some white dots.
Draw a heart very carefully on the middle finger. If you have stamping plates, you can use stamping plates to stamp out a heart. Here however we have drawn it with the nail art brush. Write “Ken” which is the name of Barbie’s boy friend. Put some dots with the rose pink polish. You can use the orange polish also for the dots.
Coming to the 3rd finger or the ring finger, we will be drawing stilettos here and a small flower. Carefully draw out the shoe with the brush and white polish. Use the sharp end of the tooth pick to give some border dots to the shoe to make it look prettier with the orange polish.
Make a small flower with 4 dots of white polish using blunt end of tooth pick. Immediately join the middle portion of each dot to the centre to form petals with the sharp end of the tooth pick. Finish with a small tiny dot of orange in the middle.
For the tiny finger, we have applied the same process of drawing flower petals and ultimately a flower with 5 petals and a small half flower on the side.
Finish off with the top coat.
