Hi everyone!! Today I am going to show you all a dramatic chocolate smokey eye look that is great for parties, weddings and other ceremonies…it is very easy to do and makes the whole eye look very sensual and fresh…this look is inspired by my love for caramel chocolates…I bet they are your favorite too.
So let’s get started with the dramatic smokey eye makeup in brown.
Prime your eyes with an eye primer to get them ready for eyeshadow…don’t forget to apply a little bit on the lower lashline as well..
Now take your pencil liner and line the outer third portion of your entire lid…this will help in making a dark base for the Smokey eye…
Now taking an eye applicator, smudge the liner on the outer third of the eye lid…remember to use only pencil liner as it smudges easily…
Now taking an angled brush apply any highlight color on your brow bone and inner corners to lighten your eyes a little bit…
Now taking a fluffy brush apply a soft brown color on the outer-v and crease of your eyelid…remember to concentrate on the outer-v area…
Now apply Vaseline on your eyelid to help the loose glitter stick on the eyelid , alternatively if you have eyeshadow glitter glue, you can mix the glitter with that and apply that on your eye lid.
Now with a flat brush, pat the loose glitter on your eyelid, don’t rub it otherwise you will experience a lot of fall out, don’t worry if the glitter particles fall out on your face because we can take care of that later…
Now take the caramel colored eyeshadow and apply it on the outer third of your eye lid to tone down the glitter
Now taking a pointed brush apply a dark brown color only on the outer-v to give it a little intensity
Now apply the same dark brown eyeshadow all over the crease with a flat brush.
Line your lash line with a black eye pencil
Now take the same dark brown eyeshadow again and line your lash line with it taking an angular brush, this will give it a more complete look
Now take the loose glitter again and apply it on the outer area of your lower lash line
To brighten things up again…apply a little highlight color on your inner corners again…
Curl your lashes and apply mascara
Now dip a Q-tip in makeup remover and swipe it across your eye in a vertical motion as shown in the picture…this will give the whole look a perfect finish
AND YOUR EYE LOOK IS COMPLETE, FLAUNT IT WITH MINIMAL MAKEUP….SOFT CORAL OR PINK LIPS…
Here is a pic of mine, with minimal makeup and coral lips; I apologize for the blurry picture …will take better pictures in future…
