Painful urination is a commonly health problem among women. The medical term for this inflammation is called 'Dysuria'. This painful experience is usually felt in the tube that carries the urine out of the bladder. It also occurs in the surrounding area of the genitals which is known as perineum.

  1. Drink lot of fluids between short intervals
  2. Reduce the intake of caffeine and alcohol, most importantly reduce the consumption of aerated drinks.
  3. Wear loose inner wear. Tight underwear can cause more irritation.
  4. Urinate before and after intercourse.
  5. Women should make it a habit to change their sanitary napkins/tampons after every 3 hours.
