1. Stop The Blood Flow:

  • If the bleeding continues, you must stop it. Take a clean cotton cloth. Cover the wound/cut with it.
  • Press the cloth hard against the bleeding area.

You may also turn your wound upwards, in the opposite direction of the blood flow. It helps in stopping the bleeding.

2. Clean The Wound:

  • Wash the wound with clean soap water.
  • After you clean it, wide it gently with cotton.
  • You can also use saline water to clean the wound. To prepare the solution, take 1 liter of water. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of salt to this water.
  • After the salty water cools down, use it to wash the wound.

3. Use Antibiotics:

A wound or cut on your body needs an antibiotic to keep it safe from being infected with germs and bacteria.

  • You may ask your doctor for which antiseptic to use. Bactine and polysporin are two antiseptics that do not need a doctor’s prescription. (1), (2)

  • Take a bit of wine. Blend garlic and wine in a mixer.
  • Strain the liquid.
  • Now, wash the cut with this garlic and wine liquid.
  • Repeat the process twice a day till your cut heals.

Warning: Do not leave it on for more than 20 minutes because it can damage skin.

5. Apply Onion:

  • In the case of a sore, take an onion.
  • Grind it in a mixer.
  • Add a bit of honey to it.
  • Now, apply the paste to the sore.
  • Keep it for not more than an hour.
