QuestionDo they make any real good quality breakfast bars? All I see on the shelves have marshmellows and chocolate chips in them, and I'd really like to start my day off better than that. Any suggestions (besides nature's valley because those are hard to eat).
AnswerHi James,
You might want to check out the health food aisle and the nutrition-bar aisle.
Brands like KIND, Kashi, and several others boast wholesome and often organic nutrients.
Quaker makes some and Nature Valley makes several varieties (I assume you're talking about those very hard crunchy ones being hard to eat!)
Another alternative is to make a batch yourself! You choose the ingredients, and bake a sheet of them, afterwards cutting them into bars.
Here's a good one: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/homemade-granola-bars-recipe/index
Good Luck!
