Melting Gold and Diamonds Together: What You Need to Know

I have heard that diamond jewelry can be melted, without removing the diamonds since they both have different melting points? this way, one can reclaim the diamonds as well as the gold. is this true? if yes, then how do i go about it?

Greetings, well yes it is possible however you will end up with a nugget which will contain the diamonds.
It is much easier to remove the diamonds first and just melt metal.
