Restoring Shine to Gold-Plated Jewelry: Finding the Right Coating

I couldn't find the answer to this Question:
Hello..several times a year, I get a little catalog that sells a jar of a dipping solutions for gold plated costume jewelry. It makes them shinny again and look like new. I have several earrings that I just love, but would like them to look new again. They are just gold plated, nothing fancy nor expensive. However, I cannot find the jar of the gold dipping solution anywhere and for the life of me, I cannot remember the name of the catalog that sold it. The cost was around $10 I believe. Do you have any idea what I am talking about or where I can purchase this? I hope this isn't a dumb question..lol.

I'm assuming that you are in the US.
In Australia the most common dipping solution - there are many versions - is made by Hagerty. I think they may be UK.

In the US try the Rio Grande website. They are a big supply concern in Albquerque......is that how it's spelt.
