Restoring Silver Plating: What to Do After Torch Application

I have silver plated forks and spoons that I want to make into jewelry. These are not pliable and require torching. Once I torch and bend, how do I clean the silver plating? It is so badly burnt that it is difficult to clean.

Hellthere,
There is no way to clean the burned marks on SILVER PLATED items, once you burn the plating which is just a coat of silver you will not be able to get the silver color back on the spoons/forks, it needs to be plated again.
