Sand Casting with Stones: Can I Pour Silver Over Gemstones?

I'm learning how to sand cast to make my wedding ring.  I'm pressing my ring template into delft clay and then pouring into the empty cavity.  I wanted to know if I could pour molten silver over stones that I have left inside the mold.  We wanted to use some gems (Montana Sapphires, Emeralds, or Australian Sapphires) in their natural state, but weren't sure if they would do well in the process.

Hi, unfortunately if you dont have any experience in casting or some basic knowledge in jewelery making it will be almost impossible for you to get good results in your project.
I will suggest you to check on youtube about some casting basics.
