Gemstone Polishing Guide: Achieving Brilliant Shine & Color

I went to North Carolina,and stopped by a paning for Gem Stones.I didn't get them polished,so my queston is How do I polish them to even see the true colors?Linda Gibbs

Hi Linda,

You can purchase a tumbler from a rock shop.  It come with instructions.  You place the stones and polishing media in the tumbler and turn it on.  You let it run for several days.  When finished they will be all polished up.

They come in a vibratory model as well.  They can be very fun if you like collecting stones.
