Identifying Your Elgin Pocket Watch: Gold Plated or Solid Gold?

I HAVE AN ELGIN POCKET WATCH THAT IVE DATED BACK TO 1920 BY THE NUMBERS ON THE MOVEMENTS.
INSIDE THE BACK CASE IT SAYS B&B ROYAL, 20 YEARS AND THEN THERE ARE SOME NUMBERS STAMPED AS WELL. THEY ARE 6396760.
HOW CAN I FIND OUT IF IT IS REAL GOLD OR PLATED ECT?
IS THERE A WAY TO LOOK UP THE NUMBERS WITH B&B?
