QuestionI have several semi-precious gemstones I purchased a few years ago
and I am now crafting with beads and I would like to use the
gems in my jewelry making. They need to be drilled and I do not want to drill myself-----who/how/where would I find someone local to do this?? Thank you,thank you?

Well the difficulty all depends on the hardness and fracturing of each gem...my experience is drilling is
Tooo hard...I used high RPM Foredom...don't even think about using a Dremel. Even with high speed using diamond bits
Water cooled, the process was slow with many nice cabs being ruined from holes that did not stay straight or fractured..
Try to get a rock cutter to do them and/or call
Rio Grande and ask for tech advice on ultra sound drills..
