Permanently Sealing Sterling Silver Charms: Soldering vs. Glue

I have a sterling silver charm that opens and I need to seal it shut forever with some sort of glue. Please help!

I'm sorry, but there isn't any glue out there that I am aware of that will permanently seal metal.  It needs to be professionally soldered with metal solder or laser welded closed.  It may cost you a few dollars, but it will be permanent.  I guarantee if you try to fix it with any type of glue, you will re-do it many times throughout the years and spend more trying different remedies that claim they will work than you would if you just do it the correct way now.  Your local jeweler should be able to take care of this for you.
