AnswerHello Aseel,
I would have to ask the questions:
1. What exercise are you doing at the moment?
2. What is your diet like?
For this problem I would probably address the diet first and try to get rid of (you will hate me!!) - caffiene, alcohol and processed foods. Anything that is not home cooked, comes prepacked, precooked, etc. And no sugar!! Along with this drinking plenty of water (about a litre per 50lb) and if necessary herbal tea. This will help to get rid of any toxins and 'crap' that your body is holding on to and you may find that you lose a lot of body size from that alone. Not to mention the goodness you will be doing with your diet.
In regards to exercise there are various more queries to go with question 1, but exercises that involve the whole body (squats, lunges, push ups) work quicker and more effectively than say just bicep curls.
Resistance training (with weights) will have a better fat burning effect that aerobic exercise will but depending on your fitness levels just going out for a vigorous 30 mins walk at least 3 times a week may get you started and results showing. It is also better to try and exercise morning and evening with higher intensity but less time - so say go for two 20min jogs rather than a 45min one just in the evening.
If you have access to a gym then get an instructor to make you up a program. There a so many variables such as injuries, posture, etc that I would prefer not to set you with any definites. But adding some squats, lunges and pushups into your daily exercises would certainly do some good.
If you have any further queries then just supply the extra information and I will be quite happy to help. Good luck and let me know how it goes!!
