Hello Tasha- sorry to take so long- here is some info. First- eat three meals a day NO SNACKS- ONLY three meals a day but you MUST have the 3 meals.
Two- you must eat a good serving of protein at every meal- that is eggs, meat, fish, chicken, cheese, yogurt.
Three- you can eat 3 pieces of fruit a day but ONLY at meal time and no more than 3 a day.
Four- you DO NOT eat white rice, pasta of ANY kind, desserts, baking, sweets, sugar, regular bread, crackers, noodles etc. These things are made with flour- you must eat NO flour.
Five- you CAN eat baked potatoes, corn, peas, sprouted grain bread(at most grocery stores now), brown rice, cooked grains like barley, oats- these are your carbohydrates. You NEVER eat corn or peas along with another carb like potatoes- the corn or peas sub. for a potatoe
Six- drink two quarts of plain water every day
Seven- drink NO juices, sodas, sweetened drinks of any kind- even those with aspartame or other artificial sweetners
Eight- on your plate, one quarter will be meat, one quarter will be carb. and one half will be raw and/or cooked vegetables.
Nine- read EVERY label of EVERY food- like ketchup, etc- if it lists ANY form of sugar- it is NOT for you. Also if it lists ANY form of flour- NO GO.
If you eat like this, you will stop  craving the sweets etc in about 2 weeks. You can get more info about this plan on a website for Kay Sheppard- she had really good info. Hope that helps- Cheri.
