In order to skip a period, should I just start a new pill pack. I'm taking Yasmin and I just thought I read that somewhere. Thanks for your help.
AnswerIn order to avoid getting your period, you will have to continue the active pills and avoid the placebos (pills #21-28). Continue taking the pills. When you reach #21, take it and then start a brand new pack the very next day. You should not start bleeding. When you want to get your period, merely stop the pills and you will start to bleed within a few days.
