Understanding Floating Membranes in Pregnancy: A Doctor's Explanation

hi
i am 19 weeks pregnant and my doc thinks i have floatin membranes can u please explain that  to me? he has that  me on complete bed rest and i cant understand y i am 15 and its hard for me to understand things and can a floatin membrane go where its suppose to go?

Hello Amber- I think your dr is making this up- I have NEVER heard of floating membranes!! The membranes are attached to the edges of the placenta and there could be something wrong in that department- you need to insist that he fully explains the situation to you- and then you can tell me what he said.
