36-Week Pregnancy: Dilation, Fetal Position & Due Date - Expert Advice

This is my first preganancy and now I am just about 36 weeks along.  I am dilated at 3, 75% faced, and the baby is in a -2 position.  How much long do you think until I have this baby?

Hello Jennifer- your info tells me that your body is getting ready for birth, BUT you could still easily carry this baby well past your due date. Babies come when the time is right- NOT when WE want them to- unless you allow a dr. to interfere. I do NOT suggest ANY kind of induction- please be patient and allow mother nature to bring you this baby when it is ready. All the best- Cheri.
