Ovulation Timing: Predicting Peak Fertility Days

Question
31. I have one child. My period started on Oct 12, 2005.  We would like to have another baby.

Thank you

Answer
If you normally have a 28 day cycle (from the first day of your period until the first day of your next period) ovulation occurs on cycle day #14. You can ONLY become pregnant if you have sex on cycle day #13,14,15, or 16 each month. If your last period started on October 12, then you will probably ovulate on October 25 and can conceive if you have sex on October 24,25,26, or 27. You can further pinpoint the exact day of ovulation by purchasing an ovulation predictor kit from the pharmacy and testing your urine starting around cycle day #13. Good Luck.
