Understanding Breech Position in Pregnancy: A 5-Month Concern

I am 20yrs old this is mine and my husbands first child and i am five months right now and it feels like the baby is sitting very low and is causeing me some pain.  in a couple of our sonograms the baby has been breach. we have a little added worry because I was born breach and we want to know if this is normal at this point

It is normal for the baby to be in the breech position at this time. You are going to have to have serial sonograms. If the baby is still in the breech position by 36 weeks, you will have to deliver by elective cesarean section by 38 weeks. Very often, the baby will turn and there will be no problem. Right now, the baby is starting to put pressure on the bladder and can cause pain. It will go away.
