Missed Period & Potential Pregnancy: Symptoms & What To Do

I am 19 years old, and I have missed my period for the last 2 months. My husband and I do not used any birth control. I have taken several home pregnancy test and they all have been negative. I have several symptoms indicating that I am pregnant. I have swollen/tender breast with large blue veins appearing, increased vaginal discharge,nausea,bloated abdomen, and my face is breaking out horribly. Could I still be pregnant even though the home pregnancy. test said negative?

The sensitivity of home pregnancy tests varies considerably according to the manufacturer although most of them shows pregnancy by 6 weeks amenorrhea.

If you are having the symptoms you described with 8 weeks amenorrhea, 2 months, an ultrasound whether abdominal or pelvic should clearly determine whether u are pregnant or not. An alternative will be a determination of the level of beta subunits of human chorionic gonadotrophin in blood which can idicate if ur pregnant or not and if pregnant, it can roughly indicates the age of your pregnancy .
