QuestionI was doing a little research on the internet! I just wanted to know how likely are these dates!? I went to conception-calculator.net
Your Input
Your due date was 7/3/2011
Result
Based on the above information, your estimated conception date was between Oct-08-2010 and Oct-13-2010
The most likely conception date was Oct-10-2010
Explanation of Results
Conception date is calculated by subtracting 38 weeks to the due date.
Please note that the conception date is only an estimate. Since both eggs and sperms can live for longer than 24 hours, it is impossible to pinpoint the exact date of conception.
AnswerDear T,
You can not figure out your date of conception based only on your due date, unless you have consistent 28 day cycles. If your cycle is longer or shorter than that, you would need to know the first date of your last menstrual period, and how long they usually are. Then you subtract 14 days from the end of what your cycle would have been, and that is your probably ovulation date.
For example, if your periods are usually 34 days long, you probably ovulated, and therefore conceived, on or around the 20th day or your cycle, since a woman can conceive on her ovulation day, and 2-3 days before or after.
Good luck,
Sheva
