Pregnancy Timeline Calculation: Conception Date Analysis

i had a question and its terribly embarrassing but here it goes.. i had sex on 7/23 and then on 8/7.. my son was born april 28.. i have a very irregular period that came early in july (i believe) but it never came on the same week and sometimes would skip a month.. if i do the calculations they say i conceived around the first week of August .. prob the 5th.. so is it more realistic that i conceived 8/7? Thank you..

From the information that you gave, it seems extremely likely that you conceived August 7. If you had any 1st trimester ultrasounds that confirmed the late April due date, then yes,  you conceived 8/7.

If an ultrasound gave Aug 5 as the date of conception, they can be off +/- 3 days - and your August 7 date fits in that time frame. July 23 is just not close enough.
