Best ASCP Exam Prep: Proven Study Materials & Strategies

Question
What is the best study material or reviewer for ASCP exam?

Answer
Elva,

I bought a book a called Clinical Laboratory Science Review: A Bottom Line Approach. That's all I studied for the exam. The link for the book is below. I found it to be extremely helpful and I wouldn't have studied anything else if I had to do it over again. Not only does it have all the information you need for the exam, but it gives you easy ways to remember the information. For instance, on one of the pages it shows a picture of a cell that is undergoing hemolysis. There is a clamp on the cell trying to keep stuff from inside the cell from leaking out. You remember what leaks out of the cell during hemolysis as:
K = K + increased
L = LD increased
A = Aldolase and Acid Phosphatase increased
M = Mg++ increased
P = PO4 increased

There are other review guides out there that might be just as helpful, or even more helpful. You might ask some of your instructors and see if they have any ideas as well. Here's the link to the book:
