QuestionHi,
I am worried sick about trying to get pregnant, and the more that seems to go wrong the worse it is getting, and any advice would great!
In two years I have had 4 m/c, the last one was two months ago. July I had my period on the 6th of July, and started ovulation kits on the 14th, it shwed a LH surge on the thurs 23rd July. My hubby and I did the deed from the 13th July til Sun 26th. Yesterday, tues 28th, I has sharp pain in my left hand side, which went on all day, followed by brown discharge (so for TMI). Is it possible my ovulation was actually 5 days after the LH surge and I have missed it? Also I am convinced my nipples are aching, and darker, are these ovulation signs?
Thank u so much for listening

Hello,
Certainly it is possible that the pain you had was ovulatory pain, but I cannot be sure. Nipple aching and darkening are usually pregnancy symptoms and not ovulation symptoms. Most women don't have symptoms with ovulation except pain at the time of ovulation. So, in terms of whether or not you could get pregnant this month, the only way to know is to wait and see. I think that your timing was okay, but we'll have to see.
I would recommend that you try not to worry about getting pregnant too much. The increased stress in itself can prevent pregnancy, and of course, influence your daily life and relationships. Just let it happen. If you miscarry again, then you need to see a specialist for evaluation and treatment. But bottom line, trying to get pregnant should be fun. It should not be hard work or laborious.
