QuestionWe used opks this cycle. I got a positive on CD 19 . And a negative on CD20. We had sex on CD 18 and CD19.
Then I felt O pains on CD 24 and took an opk test. It was POSITIVE???? And a negative on CD25. So I guessed that my body didnt ovulate with the first one and was ovulating on CD 24/25. Things were crazy with our schedule so we did not have sex with the second opk
Now presently I am dpo 9 (using the second opk)
I have been having VERY light spotting (really brownish in clear mucus... sorry TMI). DPO 6-9. With a strong abdominal pull. But my HPTs are negative
Could the sperm have survived 5 or 6 days and I am having implantation bleeding??? OR do you know of other reasons for staining/spotting day 6-9.
I have PCOS.
Thanks for taking time to read this.

Hello Noelle from the U.S.,
The sperm cannot survive 5-6 days. The other possibility is that you have an ovarian cyst, which would have remained hormonally active, confusing your OPK. However, your story is certainly confusing and I cannot give you a specific answer. Other testing, like a blood bHCG and ultrasound would need to be done so see what is going on. With PCOS, it could just be a dysfunctional cycle.
