ANSWER: Hello Sab from Kuwait,
If look through my previous answers at this site and my blog, there are lots and lots of questions regarding PCOD. Yasmin is the ideal birth control pill for patients with PCO because the progesterone it uses, called drospirenone, is a testosterone receptor blocker. One of the problems with PCOs is that the hormones are out of balance and there is an increase in testoseterone, the male hormone. This leads to side effects such as increased facial hair, diabetes, obesity. The birth control pill will over-ride your ovarian dysfunction and provide the female hormone estrogen, and block the testosterone.

QUESTION: First of all I thank You for your good resoponse.
I would like to know the next step for this treatment to get pregnant.
Is PCOS solve by medicines?
Thank you,
Sab
AnswerHello Again,
If and when you and your wife decide to pursue pregnancy, then the treatment plan has to change. She needs to be put on fertility medications to induce the ovaries to work properly to ovulate. Several medications are available, but it is not so easy a process because PCOS ovaries can be resistant to some medications. Your doctor will have to work through the problem to find the one that works. You should see a fertility specialist for this treatment.
